February 2014, we had our first visit from Led2Serve, an organization dedicated to “equip, support, and serve both locally and in areas around the world where true hope is least known.”

Comprised of volunteers from Kansas, Georgia, and Texas, the group stayed at the working farm of our neighbor Vin Palos and came to HRC for a day of reforestation. They planted over 100 saplings and will return in the fall of 2014 to plant more.

In 2015, Led2Serve plans to help our mission with more than 200 student and teacher volunteers coming throughout the year in groups of 20 or so.
